Project Highlights: rcs construction is a robust general contracting company offering construction services for commercial, retail, institutional, corporate and hospitality clients throughout Atlantic Canada. As a growth oriented company, President Doug Doucet engaged Paul Behner on a six-month contract to establish the company’s business development platform.
The scope encompassed overall corporate strategy as Paul formalized the integration of sales and marketing with best practices in business development. He created a customized framework using the principles of the Traction Entrepreneurial Operating System to shape strategic direction. Paul collaborated with an independent consultant and senior management to lead this initiative that ultimately enriched employee engagement, culture and core values while supporting sustainable growth.
During this time, Paul relied upon his technical abilities and experience in business operations and civil contracting to build trust and respect with project management teams, partners and clients, both locally and nationally. He expanded the rcs business network, introduced its first CRM program and successfully put the company on relevant bid lists including Bass Pro Shops. By leveraging his extensive network, Paul engineered a joint venture involving rcs affiliate Mill-Right to increase sales, developed strategic partnerships to diversify rcs service offering in design-build tilt-up construction and initiated and led a multi-million dollar real estate transaction.
